Yemi, a Lightworker holds two Master’s Degrees in Education. She is a High School Guidance Counselor for the NYC Department of Education and loves working with the students. Working for the DOE for the past 22 years, Yemi has seen youths succeed and struggle with personal, family issues and academics all at the same time. Her passion is to see them acquire academic achievement, career development and self-awareness, so they can be productive citizens. She believes children need guidance in every aspect of their lives, some have supportive parents/guardians with a village behind them while others have none. Her global purpose is to love. She cares about people; and she wishes that everyone could be happy, healthy, and well provided for. She is a giver of light.

A teenage mother at the age of 16 and then 19, Kemi had to sacrifice her young adult life to raise two children, go to school and work. She has a degree in Nursing and is currently working on her Master's! It wasn't only the grace of God that enabled her to get back on track - it took determination and hard work. Kemi endured many sleepless nights, long hours of studying and working to achieve her goals. She is a living testimony that you can achieve your goals with focus and perseverance.
